Week 42: The Wrong Man

We've seen this scenario before -- a man is accused of a crime he didn't commit -- but we've never seen Hitchcock do it this way before. This week Eric and Jim take a brief look at one of Hitchcock's most depressing films, The Wrong Man, starring Henry Fonda.

Week 41: The Man Who Knew Too Much

We're still shaking the sleep from our eyes as we record this one, but that doesn't stop us from discussing Hitchcock's classic, The Man Who Knew Too Much. Join us for our quick discussion, then get ready, because the upcoming weeks will feature a slew of gems, including Vertigo, Psycho, and The Birds. (Incidentally, ignore last week's "week 41" designation. That should have been week #40.)

Week 41: Alfred Hitchcock Presents part 1

To paraphrase the immortal words of George Costanza, we're back, baby! Our hiatus is over. Jim and Eric are so excited about the upcoming paperback edition of A Year of Hitchcock: 52 Weeks with the Master of Suspense that we've hit the mic and started recording again. From this point forward, expect an episode every two weeks -- sometimes every week -- until we've finished this casual, fun-oriented audio companion to our book. This week, we shake the slumber from our eyes (in this case, literally; we recorded this episode early, before coffee) and discuss the first few years of Hitch's classic TV show, Alfred Hitchcock Presents. It's not a rip-roaring, energetic start, but the important thing is ... we're back! Enjoy!
